I can't connect to the internet. Need help locating right driver/s.

I just got done installing windows 7 on my Dell Inspiron M5040. I went to "Network and Sharing Center" -> "Set up a new connection or network" -> "Connect to the Internet" and it reads "Windows did not detect any networking hardware".

I figured the drivers must be missing so I went to this Dell's Drivers and Downloads page Drivers & Downloads | Dell US but I'm not sure which driver is the right one.

It has been a while since I've had to download drivers and It is my first time having to install drivers for this model. Can someone point me in the right direction.

hey if you go on the dell website Drivers & Downloads | Dell US and open up the network tab, install for your lan driver Driver Details | Dell US
and... wireless should be this one Driver Details | Dell US

unless you can give a more accurate model number/revision of the laptop model since the wireless sometimes varies a lot >.> for example if your using the wireless half mini card, in which case the wireless driver is different

I found the right driver under "Network" when I was looking under "Modem/Communications". Thanks for the reply BTW.
