Hiyya Darkbreak mate as I don't know the numbers maybe you could access them at your end and the drivers should come up form this link
    Product Selection | Dell US

PS I meant to add that I always go for the manufacturers site rather then rely on the Windows updating feature

It doesn't look like a driver problem. It looks like it's not being recognized as a USB device. It should show up under Disk Drives not Other devices. Does a thumb drive work in the front port(s)? It may be that the Store N Go draws too much current on the front ports. Are they 2.0 or 3.0 ports?

Added: There's a limit on the amount of current you can draw from a USB Hub. What other devices are on the same hub?

Right got it so the plug in is not being recognised?

Now yes Wizz you are right I got my wires a tad crossed there. Now generally speaking those external drives usually come with their own and I think rotten software and wondering if the thing should formatted through DISKPART I wonder if it is seen in that?

Now usually the larger ones come with a power adaptor and again you are right the big ones will draw or try to draw far too much power from what is available in the USB port.

Looking at a few reviews this machine is now reasonably aged too am wondering too if the mobo maybe a failing.

Just because there's nothing plugged into those ports doesn't mean the HUB isn't being used by other devices.

Does a thumb drive work in the ports? You didn't answer.

Have you physically examined the ports to see what condition the contacts are in? You will need a fairly bright light.

Does it work? Does it show up in Devices as a disk drive?
