    Finding a driver to make internet work


    Hello everyone,

    So yesterday my computer didn't work at all and I re-installed windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
    Now whenever I start my computer, my internet doesn't work and whenever I try to find something it tells me that Windows doesn't detect and networking hardware.

    Since I am pretty bad with drivers I need to know what driver I have to install or what I have to do.
    I don't know how to update and I can't do anything, because my desktop has no internet.
    If anyone can help me by telling what driver I have to install for internet which works for LAN also.

    Motherboard:
    Z77-G43

    So the main problem is my internet and I don't even know what I am doing now, but my first priority right now is getting internet and I thought that my motherboard has something to do with that, since I have no drivers installed.
    I installed realtek_pcielan_7_mb but it just installs driver updaters and those are not working because I don't have internet to update it...

    Donny welcome to SevenForums.

    Please goto "device manager" (apparaatbeheer in Dutch). Expand branch "Other devices". Also expand stuff with explanation marks. Post screenshot.

    Device Manager - Finding Unknown Devices in step 5 is explained how to get the Hardware ID's. Give me the hardware id's of "other devices" and devices with exclamation marks.

    Does your motherboard have a driver CD? If so, insert it in DVD-drive and run setup.
