It appears that there are no 64 bit drivers for that modem. 32 bit drivers are not supported on a 64 bit OS.
You will probably need to obtain a new and compatible modem.

I couldn't find any 64bit drivers for it either, so you may be waiting for a long time.

A 64 bit OS will run most 32 bit applications. That does NOT apply to device drivers. A 64 bit OS must use 64 bit drivers exclusively.

A 64 bit OS does not have some inherent capability to run 32 bit software. This is something that must be designed in, and it isn't simple. No such capability was ever provided to support 32 bit drivers. I don't know if that would even be possible in Windows.

The most recent drivers for the Acorp M56PIH modem were released in 2006 but it appears that the software is older than that. I downloaded the file and it has drivers for a number of operating systems, none newer than XP.

Writing a device driver requires a major effort and is usually done only by the hardware manufacturer. In the current market situation it is very difficult to justify the cost of writing modern drivers for old hardware, most of which is no longer in service anyway.

I don't see an alternative. Buy a newer modem that has drivers for 64 bit Windows 7.
