Windows 7 - HP Officejet 7000

Anyone able to get this printer to work w/64 bit 7? Can't install the software or drivers. Works fine on vista machine.

Hello sjp and welcome to the SevenForums.

You could try this:
Disconnect your printer. Go to Start > Devices and Printers, click Add a printer. Click Add a local printer, click Next. Choose Officejet 7100 from the list and follow the instructions.

It might work.

Thanks, but no dice...also checked w/office depot where purchased and hp rep put stickers on all the windows 7 compatible devices in store - officejet 7000 didn't make grade. Looks like the driver not available yet....

Try the same as I told you earlier but choose an older printer, Officejet 6300. No harm done when it's not working but it might, just might work.
