Deleted something and now my screen resolution is really messed up?
Last week, I'd had some issues with adware on my computer that I had accidentally downloaded -- while I managed to deal with that, I got a little trigger-happy with Add/Remove Programs afterwards and deleted something (unfortunately, I'm not sure what, but I'm assuming it was some kind of driver?) that was apparently important for my display settings.
Prior to this, my laptop screen resolution had a variety of settings but now when I go to settings and attempt to change my display resolution, under Display it says Generic PnP Monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Card and my only real option is 1024x764, which makes everything on my screen too wide and distorted.
My question is, what should I try to do to restore my graphics/resolution?
I'm using a Lenovo U400 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
