    Winbond Fast Infrared driver


    Does anyone know if there is a Vista / Windows 7 compatible driver for this device?

    Windows 7 Action center tells me this. If I use the Windows XP driver that came with it, it causes a blue screen of death if I insert my wireless lan card (I assume its having an IRQ conflict or something like that with the Wireless card) - If I uninstall the XP driver the machine doesn't blue screen.

    Winbond Fast Infrared Controller(DMA) driver

    It is the XP driver (there isn't a Vista/7 driver for the device). Run the installer as an Administrator and in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2 Compatibility Mode

hi when my PC starts a message is displayed saying cannot find fast hard lock driver i can not understand what is the problem. can someone help please.

Since Windows-7 64bit does not detect the IR receiver hardware the Toshiba drivers will not install...
