Fatal error during installation. hpzsetup.exe wstub "786912" hp d1360

Normally my printer works with the limited basic driver. But, if i install the full software installation, of hp software, it is installed up to 96% and in configuring, it takes long time and came out with this error. How to over come this error. I downloaded the patch for this from hp site as updates and then uninstall and reinstalled. Again the same problem at the last stage. How to over come.
the error is given in a small message in
c: users\username\appdata]local\temp\7zs6910\hpzsetup.exe wstub 786912. How to overcome this error.
Moreover i am having problem in my yellow colour in my colour cartridges in test print and it is dim unlike others. How to clean the print head. I know how to do the same to the cartridges. Pl help

FYI - I was not able to access your attachment.

    Download/install/run <CCleaner> in my Signature. It's free.
Here is a tutorial, if you need it... CCleaner - Delete Junk Files
Sometime when an install fails, parts of the install program get left behind and ends up causing more problems.
CCleaner usually removes these program residuals.
Recommend uninstall the printer software and driver. Running CCleaner, then attempt reinstalling the printer software/driver.

As for your cartridge, last time I had that problem, I found removing the cartridge and reinserting it usually fixed the problem.

    Hi, Gandalf
First thank you for responding to my query. I always use Ccleaner and always cleans up as per the instruction, except of course, not taking back up every scan.
But the problem, is that there is a patch for this download (printer software download) I tried to run this before installing the software. It ended up with Read Failed error.
I do not have any problem in Basic Printing. As whenever, i plug in the printer usb, then it automatically installs the drivers from window updates. But while i want to download the software full version, I am having this issue.

As I recall, printer software often requires the printer to be unconnected to the PC while the software is being installed. Do you comply with that requirement and only connect the printer when the software calls for it or is this software different?

Yes. i connected the usb only when it asks. First, on connection, it went to updating itself with the connection and shown that it has been updated, both in tray and in the software installation dialogue. But the problem is when it configures.
What is this read error of a batch file downloaded as update from hp site and then run it.

    I recommend you contact HP
Contact HP | HP® Official Site
They are specialist in their own equipment.
It's at least worth a try.

Do you have some kind of Antivirus software that could be interfering with installing the software? Norton is good at getting in the way of a software install.
