| | Device installation problem I am having trouble at not allowing my Realtek (rtl8187b) network adaptor, an internal USB (not physically removable) to be detected and then reinstalled by Windows 7 (and Vista, by the way). I want to install a Belkin external plug-in USB "dongle" as my network adaptor on this Toshiba Satellite laptop. Windows 7 does not see it (neither does Vista) completely, only as "unknown device" in Device Manager. I used the installation disc that came with the Belkin, and it reported a successfull installation. |
