Motherboard ASUS P5K/EPU Drivers

Hi,

I just installed my copy of Windows7 and from the looks of it, it looks very very good.
But i have a problem.

I wanted to install my Motherboard drivers via the InstallCD that came with the motherboard.
But when i launched the install on the CD it gives me an error.
This one ;

Motherboard Support CD does not support this operating system(WNT_6.1P_64.)

And i can't realy find a good solution for this..

It's realy important to me, because now I don't have the ASUS Programs i always use and I don't have any sound.

Please help me quick.

Just run the setup.exe with Vista compatability mode

That's how I installed the mobo drivers on my P5Q.

Also you would be better off downloading the updated Vista drivers from the Asustek website.

put your Motherboard CD in your cd-rom drive. Right click on ths drive and select explore. Look for the setup.exe file on the cd. Right click setup.exe and on the compatibility tab select Vista. I always check the "run as administrator" when I use compatibilty mode. After that just run setup.exe and should work.

mr.grim's suggestion is a better one.... Asus might have updated drivers on thier website.

SOLUTION: Connect your speakers to the other green output and voila you have sound. This worked for me(yes i have asus p5k). And windows automatically downloads the realtek audio driver so it should be ok. But you can also install the vista version from the original version on the cd.
