Hi roby777 and welcome to Se7en Forums

As you can see from my System Specs I have the same model of printer/scanner as you. I have only installed the drivers in my Vista installations, but am using the default drivers in W7. This is the same situation as I had with my previous printer/scanner (an HP model). This had drivers for XP, but not Vista (except for the built-in ones). Apart from the lack of specific monitoring software, I have had no trouble with them. It is possible that Epson might release specific drivers for W7, so it would be worth checking the website ocassionally for any updates. However, since the device works with the default driver this is unlikely.

This is how i did get my Epson SX105 to work!
    (print)

    1. Download 32bit or 64bit Vista drivers from "Epson" homesite.
Debending if you have 32 or 64bit Windows 7

2.Install the drivers on compatibility mode (VISTA)

3.Chose the port manual (USB001 Virtual printer port for USB)

Sorry for my English, moderator can clean my writing if sees so

    sx105 scanner probs

    Hi there,

got a simular problem except it's my scanner that doesn't work. Downloaded and installed Win 7 drivers from Epson support, but every time I try to open Epson scan, I get a message that says " files needed cannot be found. Please re-install drivers". Any suggestions?

Do you still have the support CD? if so pop it in to your drive and open my computer click on the drive and find something that says setup right click it and click compatibility trouble shooter it should work.
