Driver updates for old hardware that are made for XP but work on 7

Since XP support is going away And I have some older devices such as

VBOX 3560 tuner
ATI PCI HDTV Wonder card

Which are listed as xp drivers, although windows 7 updates finds and installs them and they work good.

WILL those drivers still be available on windows update?
I simply put device into PC, then run windows update in control panel. Win 7 update finds the XP drivers and installs them. It will not tell you they are XP drivers.

I have downloaded some drivers off windows update catalog.
Is that something everyone should do? Update all XP device drivers beofre XP support is gone?

I suppose for my vbox 3560 wont be a problem since they show win 7 and win 8 and win 8.1 drivers for it.
