    Turning Off Automatic Driver Search


    So I turned the automatic driver search on for a minute to find drivers for my printer on the internet, but now I can't find the options menu to turn off the automatic driver search. Where do I find these options?

    Right-click Computer, select Properties. Click System Protection at far left, then the Hardware tab and then "Device Installation Settings".

Hello, after install win 7 rc (b7100), sounds on my notebook (hp compaq 8510p) are automaticly turning off after a few secounds of inactive. I'm having some problems with my current wireless drivers and i wanted to try another version, but Windows 7 keeps installing the one it finds on it's own. when i try to update it, it says that it already installed the most suitable driver. Anyway to get around this?
