Sure give that one a try and report back ...
I am online, praise God - is it OK to try the VGA one -might I need that - the screen still looks like Safe Mode. Is it generally OK to try drivers from that page? How do I know if there are any others that are missing? Sorry that I didn't give the second part of the model number before, but the chipset, LAN and NECI drivers are exactly the same size on both pages, so I guess they are the same, hopefully..
Andrew
Yes they are the same i did check .. And sure do try to Install the Dixon VGA as that is the latest Driver Version ..
Go to the Device Manager then Display Adapters .. Click on it then Right click select Properties then Driver .. It will tell you which Version of the Driver you have Installed ...
Wonderful, the screen resolution is back to normal. Also, Device Manager doesn't show anything as missing. I suppose I will notice if something seems different from before and then can check the driver version as above. Thanks very much for your help and quick replies,
Andrew
Actually, perhaps I should ask the question whether there are other drivers I should check to see if they are the latest version. (The version of Windows 7 I installed was the one from digitalriver which I think is the official one.)
Andrew
Well you can check if you really want to .. But all is working well so i would tend to leave things as they are ..
Thanks again,
Andrew
I'm missing the exact same drivers after I reinstalled windows 7. I'm using a Toshiba Satellite C675-S7200 though. I checked the hardware IDs on all the drivers but cannot find them anywhere. Any help would be great. Thanks.
