Asus Sonicmaster X102BA Bugcode usb driver Win7 64bit

    Hello
I recently downgraded to windows 7 64 bit from windows 8 - a fresh install and when the PC comes back from the sleep mode it freezes for about 15 seconds and then reboots with the Bugcode usb driver blue screen error. I noticed in device manager its missing 2 drivers (SM Bus Controller and Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller) and I cannot seem to find them anywhere can someone help please? I can provide or try anything asked. Thanks.

    Hi maxie,
First off thank you for replying.
I tried the chipset - not sure which one because I have windows 7 64bit installed and it has 2 for windows 8 and 1 for windows 8.1 - none for windows 7 64 bit? I tried them all and it didn't work. However in device manager I manually clicked on SM Bus Controller and clicked "Update Driver" and browsed to the extracted zipped chipset install folder it worked. I am now left with only 1 driver in device manager to be installed the "Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller" and when i tried the same steps to manually browse to the folder (and I tried all 3 chipset folders and included sub folders is checked) it could not find the driver. I also uninstalled all Universal Serial Bus Controllers, ran the chipset update and then clicked on “scan for hardware changes” after it finished I am still left with one Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller not installed – listed in other devices. Anything else I may try?

Thanks again for your help much appreciated.

It is likely that your USB3 is the missing Driver .. It should have been included in the Download .. How ever try the Link below ..

    Hi maxie,
After i installed the update all drivers from device manager were correctly installed and the USB 3.0 port now works thanks to your advice. However when I closed the PC lid to place it into sleep mode and then tried to power it back up - the BSOD error happened again. I have uploaded the dump file here if its any help if you can advise if not no problem but thanks again for your help.

    Hi maxie,
Thank you for your help as I can now use the usb 3.0 port and not missing any drivers so my PC is much better now than before i started this thread. However I am still getting the BSOD when the PC resumes from sleep mode so I will open a new thread for this issue. Thanks again for you assistance.
