(Action center) Install your USB control driver but it is installed.

Hi everyone, I keep getting a message (see screenshot) about a control driver but I have the latest and device manager says I have the latest as well .

It's a Asmedia control driver , I even downloaded a program called "Hardware Identify " one of Tweaking.coms new programs and it says all drivers are A OK .

    Any ideas

    Thanks

It might be a problem with Asmedia. I have the same issue now and then about my USB drivers, and I have an Asmedia USB controller, too. All of my drivers are fine, as well, and if I try to install the drivers it says they are already there.

I don't think it's anything to worry about. Just ignore it.

Just to double check, can you post a screenshot of your Device Manager with the USB controllers expanded so we can check you have no present.

If all's good you can open Action Center and archive that message to stop it appearing.
