Suit yourself, we were trying to help. It's your machine.
Sure I appreciate help and I asked for help , if I had a life jacket I would have been fine...... that's help !! I referring to a Controller Card does any one know the difference ??? What is a Controller card ? What is a Video Card.

If you don't know just don't answer and read or sleep .
You act like you are paying for help, maybe just calm down and enhance your replies with some useful information.

I believe the controller card is your onboard graphics, video card would be the dedicated card you spoke of earlier.

Since the specs you have listed in your profile relate to an HP, maybe you can update them or at least enlighten us with more specs about the Dell being referred to in this thread.

    dell280 controller

I'm really sorry for over reacting.. it's a Dell not a HP I solved the video problem with out using the controller card. I downloaded VLC player and movie videos working great.

Thanks again and VLC must be using different files the windows Player.

Again, I regret for my comments.

DELL 280 running win 7 pro cannot find the driver for the video controller, they say Dell did not issue one for Windows 7. Does any one have the driver as video's just crash. Thanks
Yes it's all working fine and thanks to the fellows that helped out . The shorts are I had to reload WIN 7 Home, rather then run WIN7 PRO . Why Pro screwed up I'll never know but HOme works just fine with all my audio and videos opening and no crashing. Thanks again.
