BSOD may be caused by COMODO Firewall

as soon as i opened Virtual CyberFox the system instantly went into a BSOD the bsod code is
    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    0x0000003b

I did run Driver verifier and thats when cmdguard.sys bsod my computer repeatedly i had to run a system restore to get it back up and running

also I have bluescreenview and it detected a Driver Violation on the cmdguard.sys driver

i will upload the mini dump if necessary :)

    Hi there,

    Let's see what this says,

    1. Download this file to your desktop or other convenient location,

    Download

    2. Double click on the file to run it.

    3. Locate the .ZIP file created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

Yeah, just to point out what you already knew,

    It is Comodo,

    Code:
Unable to load image cmdguard.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for cmdguard.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for cmdguard.sys
    Probably caused by : cmdguard.sys ( cmdguard+8339 )

    Followup: MachineOwner
Uninstall it, and see how that reacts.

Were you running verifier for the crash of Virtual CyberFox?

I would uninstall Comodo, leave verifier off and see if it crashes again.

Sorry, what I meant was did you turn verifier on because of the Cyberfox crash?

I was wondering why you turned it on in the first place, usually it's done to find a driver after a crash.

Either way, my suggestion above still stands, uninstall Comodo and see if stays stable without verifier on.
