Windows 7: Driver Avermedia M115/M104 Acer Aspire 9810

Today I've installed windows 7 x86 on my Acer Aspire 9810. Unfortunately i can't find the driver for the Avermedia M115/M104 TV Tuner.

Does someone have the same problem and found a driver that works?

Have you tried the driver that, came with the tuner, in compatibility mode?
Compatibility Mode
When I installed my Windows 7 windows update found me a driver for my usb tv tuner. Think it took a day or so but you might have a look at your optional updates.

Yes that's right. With the other drivers I had no trouble at all. The Avermedia Tuner works too. The Threads above shows how to get it work.

All installs are unique but if you have the same make and model number as powerbit does then you have an excellent chance for a trouble free install. Good luck to you.

yes i have the same problem. tried a clean install. it refuses to use the back up i made with windows vista. maybe fortunately this was a new hard drive that i just installed a couple of weeks ago. I will reformat the new drive again, reinstall windows 7 after using the transfer tool from windows 7 on the old drive. putting the fresh new hard drive. so much for a smooth install.

Ok, I just installed Win 7 on my Aspire 9810, I cannot find the Multimedia Controller drivers and the Avermedia tuner drivers, can anyone help? I cannot find the program from thread above. Thanks for any help

it is a vista driver so you will need to download to a folder then right click on the file and select properties to change compatibility as per this tutorial..
