Yep, post# 57 shows that the driver currently on your system is the same as the one from the previous 14.4 update. Soooooooo, there's nothing that you need to do.
Does the game still recommend updating? You're going to have to ignore that.
As long as the game plays reasonably well, the only thing that might stop it from complaining is an extremely high priced GPU or a configuration change (filter) specific to the game. I tried to find that information on AMD, but like so vendor many websites, the information is not readily available.
AMD Catalyst is a package that manages AMD/ATI drivers.
The core component is the Catalyst Install Manager (CIM) (what you see when you launch it fro Control Panel > Programs & Features)
This is just an AMD utility that lets you manage installed components.
The version number on CIM is for the utility itself, not the components it manages. It always confused me in the past when I looked or driver (GPU or chipset) updates.
They change the Catalyst version number when some component in the package changes, utility changes, or a new component is added (in the case of 14.3 -> 14.4 when a component was removed)
The only way I know to get just a driver is through CIM or Windows Update. You don't have to necessarily re-install Catalyst (CIM will tell you if an update is available - you can choose what components you want to update).
That being said along with the information you posted, I would say that this issue (trouble updating driver for AMD Radeon 6570 HD) is resolved. As long as the GPU and driver are working (no artifacts such as the green line) then there isn't much else I can offer on the original issue.
You have the latest driver for your 5700 card.
Where does that leave you?
I'm not a gamer, so if the game still complains, you're probably better off opening a new thread in Gaming - Windows 7 Help Forums
There are features of AMD GPUs that I never use (overclock and a new utility Raptr)
Overclocking your GPU can cause issues including BSODs, so it's best to have the advice of a person experienced in that. I don't know anything about Raptr.
You should do some research first and ask questions in the SevenForums (SF) or AMD gaming forum before making any changes.
I don't think there's any housekeeping to do, although some members might suggest turning on automatic Device Installation. I don't on my machine and I still get the device drivers offered though Windows Update (WU) - they're just not automatically installed, I have to tell WU that I want the driver.
If you agree that the thread issue is resolved, please mark the thread Solved, thanks.
You can pursue the game suggesting that you update the driver (or GPU) in the gaming thread.
It has been my pleasure working this issue with you.
