    Switched laptop from Win8 to Win7 and missing wireless/wifi drivers


    I have an Acer laptop, Aspire E1-570. I changed it from Windows 8 to Windows 7 and it is now missing the wireless drivers so I can't connect to Wi-Fi. Where can I get the missing drivers please?
    I loked through some old posts with a similar problem but the links provided weren't current/functional.

    Hi Welcome to Seven Forums .. Go to the Device manager / Network Adapters / Right click on the one that is missing .. Select Property's / Details Tab / There should be a Hardware ID there please Post it ..

Hi Everyone, I have 2 laptops, an HP Pavilion dv7 and a Dell XPS M1530. I have a 75Mbps internet connection to my router. My HP laptop internet wireless download speed is approx. 75-85Mbps depending upon the server I need to access. My Dell can only reach a wireless internet speed of 15-20Mbps....

I have a Win8 laptop on which I want to install Win7 Pro (for which a have a DVD and key). I know simply trying to boot the Win7 disk does not do it. Is the problem the Win8 drive is a GPT disk? If so can I use Partiton to change it to MBR and just go from there? If not, what else do I have to...
A family member of mine recently bought this Acer laptop recommended by me, i personaly prefer Win7 far over Win8 so i suggested that family member to buy Win7 home premium together with the PC as we couldn't choose to change the OS as we bought it. Now we've got the new pc and the win7 disc....
