    TSST SH-S223Q Burners Dead


    After completing win7 installation from this DVD drive the built-in win7 drivers for DVD drives has failed. I have 2 of these (same model) and can't use either. When checking for updated drivers the system says "you have the latest drivers". Device manager says driver is corrupt or misssing. SFC /scannow verifies all o.k.

    Any ideas?

High I just replaced my dvd drive on an Inspiron 570, windows installed the driver for the new Samsung without error. In imgburn in the select drive it shows the the old TSST Corp as does the properties for the drive in "computer icon". Is this something that I should worry about ?
