    Belkin N Wireless USB Adapter + Steam = Ultimate Death


    I installed Window 7 on my laptop. Everything ran pretty well, so I decided to give it a try on my desktop.


    I had a little hard time installing Belkin USB driver, but it wasn't anything complicated. Then I installed Steam. The nightmare happened.... The wireless would work for about 5 minutes. Then it just die. I did everything I could imagine, but nothing helped unless I restarted the computer. Then again.... 5 minutes,,, it's dead.

    I reinstalled Window 7 again just for the heck of it with USB + Steam. AND THE SAME THING HAPPEN AGAIN!

    The third time I decided to go easy on my Window 7. I installed everything but Steam, and the wireless works just fine for 5 weeks!

    Does anyone have the same problem? & is there any solution out there?

    I've got mine on a laptop, and it worked for about three days before it went out, now when i try to reinstall the Cd it says that the drivers did not install correctly and i gotz no net. I tried compat. mode (i think) and getting the vista driver from belkin, but nothing seems to work. basically I'm jumping in this guys boat- can anyone help?

    also, just for fyi- do not staple the installation CD in spite... it won't run afterwards.
