Well drivers depend on what you are doing?

    Also please note...

When you install new software they come with drivers.

Installing them manually is "normally" Used on custom builds (first boot) or after a BSOD.

Open up Device Manager, that will show you what drivers you`re missing.

The most important is the network driver, which you can find at the manufacturers website.

Look over the steps in the link below to Clean Up Factory Bloatware which will also help optimize your system to run best. Steps are similar for XP.

If you have missing drivers in Device manager, find them on the PC model's Support Downloads webpage. I'd not install any of the software however since it is mostly bloat. It shows in the Bloatware tutorial how to turn off any you have on there now in msconfig. You can gradually uninstall what you find you don't need, too.

Were these drivers from the program in your other thread?

Those driver finder programs are not necessary.

Are you sure the link in post #1 is correct ?
From what I see in the link it is a very old PC and doesn't have a Network connection.

How were you connected before? By wire or wireless.

Look in Device Manager under Network Adapters to see what is listed.

Plug in by wire, enable Device Installation Settings, then see if a driver auto-loads in the System tray at bottom right of screen.

Are the network adapters showing in error?

This is likely caused by using a driver finder on a driver-complete OS. Drivers not provided in installer are almost all updated by Windows Update. Did you check for what Important and Optional Updates are available. These should all be installed except for Bingware.

Do you have the PRoduct Key for Win7 version that came with the PC? It is a 25 digit key that you'll need to reinstall. If you don't have it then you'll need a valid Win7 Product Key. We can provide the installation media.

It explains how to do this correctly in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 including how drivers are handled. Put your wireless driver in the backup so you can install it to get online, enable auto-updating of hardware, then run all Important and Optional Updates which will deliver most recent drivers.
