Hello so I bought a 2nd handf laptop reinstalled winxp and drivers I am not sure if I have done this correctly is there a program out there that can tell me all drivers are up to scratch or what else I need to download

Yes there is a programme that can help there. Driver Fusion | Update, manage and monitor drivers & devices | Treexy

I have used it myself, it will find the newer version, if available.
