Driver for Vivicam 35 digital camera

I just realized that I posted this message in the wrong forum and am now posting it again here because I don't know how to simply move it. Sorry!

I have a couple of regular digital cameras (Canon and Nikon) which are too big for me to carry around with me all the time. So for the last year I have been looking for a used small, thin camera just for that purpose. I have finally been given a Vivitar Vivicam 35 but I cannot find a driver for it - the neighbour (donor) no longer has the CD that came with it. I wrote to Vivitar Canada who was purchased by Sukor Limited asking for a driver and they replied that they have no Vivitar stock, accessories or information prior to the official date of their purchase of the Vivitar brand.

I know this is not the only Vivcam 35 in the world so I am sure that there is a Win 7 driver out there; I just simply cannot find it. Can anyone help, please? Thanks in advance and regards from Ottawa.

You actually need the Camera software DVD which will have the necessary drivers on it. I does seem that finding that may be very difficult.
You may be better off looking around for a current Compact Camera.

It doesn't appear that Snappy Driver Installer has any drivers from Vivitar. However compatible driver might be available from another manufacturer who is using the same or similar chipset as Vivitar.

I'll be able to provide further assistance if you let me see logs from Snappy Driver Installer:
    1. Run Snappy Driver Installer.
    2. When it's started, close the application.
    3. Attach the files from the "Logs" folder.
