    Linksys Print Server

I get an error saying OS not supported. Also, I am running XP on my other partition, so I don't think exporting drivers will fly.

Is this Print server Vista certified?

I know that there were firmware updates released to make some models work with Vista, Check with linksys to see if this applies to you model

Do you have web access to the print server, and which one is it? I am running a WPS11 without problems.

Well, it has a Web access like mine. If you can't access it wirelessly, hook a cable to it. If you don't know the IP address, reset it to factory defaults by holding down the reset button for 10-15 seconds then set it to a static IP. You have the default address, user and password for the default settings.

If you leave it on a static address, which needs to be outside you DHCP allowed address range, you can always find it. If you don't allow wireless access, you will have to plug in a cable when you need to change it.

If you don't have the owners manual, you can download it from the Linksys site.

I do have web access and have a dedicated ip of 192.168.1.54 I will allow me to print but I don't have the scanning ability that I do when running XP.

I don't see any updated software. There was a thread about loading Lightscribe software (HP) where the .msi file was changed to allow for the 6.1 kernel. Of course, that was Vista ready prior to being changed.

actually, after several tries, neither of my computers is able to print anything... going to reset the WPSM54G...
    maybe a HP wireless multifuntcion...
anybody knows if they work on Win7 x64?
