    SiS 900-Based PCi Fast Eternet driver to W7


    Hi Torrentg, the last thread on this topic was closed, so i'm listing another, hope that's ok, if not i apologize. As it would happen, the last post on the closed thread has my exact hardware IDs, but your response is not listed, so I will list my hardware IDs here in hope, that you could tweek a driver for my use.

    Hello and welcome Ke5stel mate as I do not know what your exact problem is can you please elaborate.

    My apologizes ICit2lol, for not being more specific in my needs. Yes, your assumption is correct, I need a driver for windows 7, to recognize the on board ethernet. I will let you know my results in a day or two. Thank you for your quick response...........ke5trel

    ok, first off, thank you ICit2lol, the ethernet now works. there are no issues. the only thing i have to do now is purchase an audio card so i can have sound. it seems that the on-board audio (motherboard), does not require/have a driver, it is part of the chipset. so, win7 will not see/recognize it. checked for updated chipsets and found that what i have is just a little to old for anyone to put the effort into updating it. (7yrs).
