advent v100 drivers problems  

where do i hit the f8 key from when i start the laptop

i hit f8 but it dose nothing i did a scan why the wifi was not working and came up wireless capability is turned off is all it keeps say

i was googling the problem and people say its the wifi card but i know for a fact its not as i have another laptop and well i changed over the wifi card into my girlfriends same model laptop and its working great.u think maybe i could load bios again could u tell me what bios do i need for my pc exactly to load might fix this problem and also.im not sure how to do this Programs and Features and see if Value Added Package is Installed

i looked in programs and features and there is no Value Added Package is Installed

can u please show me a link to which i need to download and how u think i losed this program.as the laptop was going one time and not the next.
