Problem installing HP PSC 2355 Printer in Windows 7
I am trying to install my HP PSC 2355 printer in Windows 7. HP states that they do not have a full function driver for this model for Windows 7. However, the driver that comes with Win 7 has a driver that will give the printer basic functions which is all I need. One should change the device installation settings so that updates are performed automatically. I have done this. However, when I connect the printer (USB port) no window pops up to indicate that a new driver has been installed nor is there any other action and the printer still does not function. I have tried this numerous times and it appears that Windows 7 doesn't even recognize that there is a printer attached. What do I do?
