Downgraded to win 7 from 8. Driver install issue  

Hey guys. I recently went through the process on my hp laptop 2000 of downgrading from win 8 to win 7 ultimate x64. I have windows 7 installed and running. I'm trying to install the couple drivers needed for hardware, most notably the wireless drivers. I downloaded all the drivers from hp. When I try to install them, they extract and I get the window that says install wizard is launching. That little window then disappears and nothing happens. I've tried downloading different versions of the drivers and the same thing happens. Any ideas as to why this could be occurring and how to fix it?

It is an hp 2000-2b09wm.

Just to make it clear, it's not just the wireless driver that does this. It's all the hardware drivers. Just, not having the network adapter working really makes this laptop useless.

Reboot than run windows update it might find the needed drivers.

First off, sorry for the delay. Wound up in the hospital for a bit. Anyhow, you are the best. Downloaded the INF file and manually installed it and it worked beautifully. Thank you so much.
