| | W7 on SE7525rp2 Mobo help needed Hey all... sorry if this is in the wrong forum.. but I gotta post somewhere... I tried installing Windows 7 on my older SE7525rp2 system which went fine. Everything seems to be ok EXCEPT . . . . . . .. . For some reason there is a real problem with the geforce 8800gts on 64bit windows on the SE7525rp2 board. Apparently all the gfx card drivers are up to date, but it is the firmware/bios of the Mobo that doesnt seem to compute. That is where the problem is. My question is, is there a solution to this? I can get my old geforce 6800gt to work fine on vista/Windows 7 ultimate 64bit.. but I cant get the 8800gts to work on vista/Windows 7 ultimate 64bit. I guess what I need is the firmware/bios update (if there even is one). I've been to the Intel site but have had no luck there. If anyone can offer a solution or work around or anything I'd greatly appreciate it... |
