    Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller


    Need to replace Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller on my Compaq CQ5715F with AMD Athlon II. FOXCONN mother board 2 AB7. However, I cannot connect to the internet where can I get a driver for a replacement?

    Maxie....thanks. I was able to download the Realtek driver. I can now see my router but can only access the internet by using the Windows key and the letter 'R' and using the hh command. Help :-(

    Hi Ron ... I understand you are using the Run command ... Need more Information on the problems you are having? ... What happened to the Network Adapter that you had to Re-Install it ?

    Maxie...the network adapter (when viewed in Device Manager) started showing the yellow triangles (as well as the WAN Miniport (IP), (IPv6), and (Network Monitor). Windows Trouble shooting said that the was a software/hardware problem. That went away after I downloaded the new driver (using another system).

    ....no, other than I still cannot connect to the internet via IE except thru the command prompt

    Is it just IE that has the problem ? ....

    No browser can reach the internet....goggle chrome....firefox.... either

    Try the following solution ...


    Select CMD "Run as administrator".

    Now enter this command

    netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

    Press "Enter".

    Reboot your computer
