I just reformatted my PC and unable to run Windows Update. I have attached the CBS file and a screenshot of the error message. Have tried restarting a zillion times, update drivers, and a fix registry tool but still unsuccessful. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance.

I am running a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit computer. I used to be able to run chkdsk with no problem. For some reason when I now run chkdsk, I get the countdown from 9 to 0 and the system then boots Windows 7 Home Premium. It will not run chkdsk. Any help will be appreciated.
