No compatible drivers for Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

    Hello.
Yesterday I purchased a new laptop - HP Pavilion 17-f150nm. It came without an OS so I installed Windows 7 32bit. The problem is that I have a few drivers missing:
    Ethernet Controller
    Network Controller
    PCI Device
    Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller
    Unknown Device
    Unknown Device
I did not get a CD with my laptop and HP offers on their website only drivers for Windows 8 for my laptop. I've been downloading drivers using another computer and burning them to CDs since my USB ports are not working, but none of the drivers seem to be working.. I've been at this for 24hours now and don't know what to do..

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums ... One of the reasons the Drivers on the HP Website will not work is cause they are 64 Bit Drivers ...

If you click on some of the Drivers there they state they will work with Windows 7 64 Bit ...

The problem is really with the Chipset it controls most of the Devices that you have with missing Drivers ..

The Intel Chipset Utility is your only hope ... I doubt it will not Help though ..

Yeah.. Tried installing the software already, did not work. I tried again now, I get this error:

    Setup Failed
One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry setup. For more information see the log file.

You will need to download a Ethernet Controller driver from another computer. I have no Idea what your computer uses. You can usually find a 32 bit driver from the manufacture of the network card. Once installed right click the computer, then click on System Protection, click the hardware tab, now click device instillation settings. If no is selected, select yes. Then click save changes reboot. Then run windows update, tell everything is updated and do an extra reboot. Now leave the computer on overnight. Reboot in the morning and see if windows has found your devices. Good Luck.

If our New PC is indeed NEW, You can call HP and request a set of System Discs that will include the OS and All of the Drivers for that machine. I have never seen an HP Sold "NEW" without an Operating System installed, something Fishy about that. Clones Yes but not Branded Computers. Without those CD's it is going to be difficult to get all the correct drivers. On the Bottom of your Laptop you should find the Serial Number and a Windows Genuine Key Code. You will need that to get the correct Software from HP.

I would take it back to the place that sold it to you as nowhere sells these laptops without an OS.
