I upgraded from Windows XP PRO to Windows 7 Ultimate, driver problems

    Hi Maxie, I gave up the effort and bought a new PCI Ethernet Adapter. In all of my searching I ran across too many tales of woe about people who got the on board LAN adapter fitted with the correct driver, only to suffer intermittent failures and slowness etc. So it is running great now. I appreciate your help. Thanks, Jim
