Intel 82801 PCI Bridge - 244E <-- Help
Anyone know where I can find this driver?
Intel 82801 PCI Bridge - 244E
It's the only thing that doesn't have a driver for, thanks.

Sorry about that, I filled out the info for you.
I tried looking on intel too, couldn't find what I was looking for.
Also, I have a ATA Channel 0 that needs a driver, but I have no clue what it is, could you help me with that too?

Use the utility to determine your Chipset. Windows vista Os should run ok with our W7.

Then go back to the previous link and see if your Intel chipset is there.
I installed the software intel recommended after a fresh install of the OS and still no luck.
The only two drivers I need is for the Intel PCI Brdige and ATA Channel 0 (IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers).
Any other suggestions?
What did the utility return when you ran it? does it not give you your chipset details?

download it, find it and Right-click to Run as Administrator.
This was what I got
Chipset: Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family
Memory Controller: 82945G/GZ I/O
Controller: Intel(R) 82801GH I/O controller hub (ICH7DH) SATA Controller found in AHCI mode
I installed updated drivers and everything loaded fine accept the 82801 PCI bridge and the ATA Channel 0 (My DVD Rom Drives?). Both still have Microsfot default drivers.
The drivers that are missing should have been in the chipset driver package you downloaded from Dell. I would suggest downloading them to your desktop and unpacking them if needed. Then go to device manager click on the 1 of the 2 devices doing them 1 at a time and choose update driver>browse>let me pick it>have disk>.Then enter the file location on desktop. Windows should find the driver in the package. and install it.
I'll try to give that a try and thanks for the help. If anything, I am going to do a fresh install again and load the intel stuff first.
