    Can't select native screen resolution

    Hello everyone,

When I turned on my laptop today I saw that the Windows 7 theme had changed to Classic. I tried a number of things to change it back to the Aero theme, and finally managed to by resetting the graphics card. When I restarted my laptop, the theme was changed back to Aero, but the resolution is off. I tried changing it by right-clicking on desktop and selecting "Screen resolution", but the only available ones are 800x600 and 1024x768 (I changed it to the latter because it's the better option of the two). I am not sure which the native resolution for my laptop is, but it's definitely not this one.
Another thing is that my graphics card somehow changed from Intel(R) HD Graphics to VGA (at least that's what I see when I open Device Management). I tried to update it in a number of different ways, but it always says that it is up to date. Only when I try to install the latest Intel Graphics drive, it says "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software".
Also, when I open Device Management and click "Detect changes to material", it says that "the driver was not installed successfully" (my software language is set to Greek, so I don't know if that's how it is in English).

My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5742 Pew71, operating with Windows 7 Home Premium x64.

Thanks in advance (and sorry if this is not the place for this thread).

I'm not sure how to find this, unfortunately my software is in Greek. Could it be 8.15.10.2622?

I installed it, restarted the laptop and it said that the driver was successfully installed, asking me to restart again. When I restarted for the second time, a pop-up said that the driver was not successfully installed. Only the two resolutions (800x600 and 1024x768) are still available.

My native language is Greek. I didn't manage to install the latest version, so the one I have is 8.15.10.2993.
