Are you sure your Q6600 processor runs at 3.6Ghz as per your specs?

My money would be on your graphics card drivers. Unfortunately I don't have time to look in detail as I'm off out - so all I can do is drop you a link to other 5770 threads in the hope you'll find similar points have already been discussed...

Or until someone else comes along... :)

Astonishing overclock BTW, is that water-cooled?

I came across the same problem with my fonts after I had installed Win 7 64. I had used Easy Transfer to migrate my files back from a previous Win 7 32 installation. I tried the ClearType font wizard with no success. I have noticed that deleting my Aero themes and running Windows Basic seems to stop the problem, but can't get the Aero themes to work without the GUI fonts going funny as in your picture.

I'm also using the latest Catalyst drivers.

    Me too!

I have the same problem. I had hoped that the 01.10 drivers from AMD/ATI would fix it, but it didn't.

The problem appears when desktop composition and cleartype is enabled at the same time. Very annoying.
