Windows 7: Marvell 61XX 64bit sata driver don't work (Asus P5Q)

Just an FYI;



Had to reinstall win 7 pro 64bit due to said Marvell sata 'DriveXpert' drivers not really working at all well. They *should* work according to Asus and they also *seem to work at first, but within hours of initial installation there were odd slowdowns, vanishing of drives in MyComputer, two occasions of BSOD followed by drive checks upon boot, and finally all my optical drives simply vanished and would not return.

A change of drives to use only the Intel controller on the Asus P5Q mobo changed everything; now everything works super fast and stable.

I just installed a P5Q workstation and was hesitant to install those Marvell drivers. It's been working well with the Intel drivers... I'll stick with what works.
