    DVD ROM Drive Stopped Working

Hi Guys! I'm in a serious trouble
A few weeks ago I dont know what happened when I tried to turn my computer ON it showed an error before loading windows, "BOOTMGR Image is corrupt, the system can not boot". I tried to install Windows from CD but it didn't read CD, then finally I managed to install windows from USB flash drive.
Now after I have installed Windows 7 my DVD ROM drive is not working, and it doesn't show any response when I insert CD or DVD, it just doesn't do anything, doesn't show any error. Please help me, I don't know what to do, should I install some kind of driver or something?
Please help me! I would be very grateful!

    Hi
Is the drive shown in device manager? It could be that the drive has failed and needs to be replaced.
