    Upgrading to windows 10

    Hi All,

Everyone was so helpful with my first post that I am back with a couple more questions:

What is a Terminal Server Keyboard Driver?
    And,
What is a Terminal Server Mouse Driver?

I am thinking about upgrading to Windows 10 when it comes out. The window pane icon that recently apeard on my service tray says Windows 10 will work on my PC but there may be an "issue" with the two drivers I listed above.

This sounds like a mixed message to me. Should I be worried?

Thanks in advance for your advice. :)

    Hi,
You can download a iso of 10tp and use VMware and see what it's like and if there's any driver issues.
Download Windows 10 Insider Preview ISO File - Windows 10 Forums

Thanks ThrashZone and Boozad for the quick replies!
    First:
What is a Terminal Server Keyboard Driver?
    And,
What is a Terminal Server Mouse Driver?

ThrashZone: Not sure what I am looking at in the link you posted.
Boozad: I have a Compaq Presario with the mouse and keyboard that came with it.

That is where you can access a link to download a iso for win-10tp
Save as what you like and use VMware to access the iso in a virtual machine to see if you like it or not,

Running 10tp in a v-m is the safest easiest way to test 10tp without fully installing it,
This tutorial is about using VMware with Linux Zorin but applies to win-10tp as well,
VMware Player - Install and Setup Zorin

Heck we can go back and forth for a while if you really want to know what 10 is like use it and make your own assessment of it

    I wouldn't worry about it
If you have wireless devices say so which might be the alert is about ?

    Thanks again ThrashZone!

So you don't think it's anything to worry about? That is reassuring!

I also have an HP Adroid tablet besides the desktop I am using right now. My wife and daughter each have laptops, and iphones. My wife also has an ipad.

    Hi,
Well you haven't given us much additional info on how these devices are connected to your machine,
If you do we might be able to tell you a bit more

First thought was a wireless doo-da might not be compatible in which you can get a wired mouse and keyboard to work around that little issue,

If wired are you connecting to a dongle or multiple usb device like a hub 1 usb input and several usb outputs ?

Sorry, my bad. Besides my desktop, my tablet, and my family's laptops, phones, and tablets, we use an AT&T wireless modem router that came in a bundled package with our TV and home phone.

Was that what you were looking for?
