    Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor notification

    Hi,

I am preparing to upgrade to Windows 7 from my current OS, Windows Vista. I just ran the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor software and it informed my that I had drivers on my hard drive that are not compatible with Windows 7. Advisor identified the software as Infineon Trusted Platform Module, but I cannot find this software on my hard disk anywhere. How would I go about removing these drivers from my disk?

    Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that's part of the HP protect tools.

It's actually a chip on your computer,

I do see Windows 7 versions of the protect tools available for your computer, (Under>Software - Security)

Drivers & Software for HP Compaq 6515b Notebook PC - HP Support Center.

It's interesting that a Vista driver would be listed as incompatible though, most of them worked on Seven.

Would upgrading to Seven while (if) encryption is active cause problems? Would you need to unencrypt before the upgrade in such a case?
