How to re-install wifi driver for Acer Aspire One 532H?

I upgraded from xp to win 7 starter, and I formatted my HDD. When I tried to connect to wifi I couldnt because I didnt have the driver. I know what the driver is and I already tried to auto install it but it didnt work/didnt show in devices and hardware. I have a duplicate laptop with the driver installed. Is there anyway I can copy the driver files from that computer to mine? If so how, and if not how can I install the driver so it works, because I cant use this ethernet cord forever. The wifi driver is Atheros Wireless LAN Driver 8.0.0.259.

    Hi welcome to the forum

before the driver can be installed windows has to see the hardware. in device manager is the wifi adapter listed? could be under other devices. could you post a screen shot of device manager with the network group expanded and other devices if their is anything listed their. can you post the hardware id for the device? what happens when you try installing the driver do you get an error message?

No, the wifi adapter is not listed, Screen shot is below. I checked every tab under device manager and its not in there. Here are the hardware ids (there is a couple) PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_002B&SUBSYS_E016105B&REV_01
    PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_002B&SUBSYS_E016105B
    PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_002B&CC_028000
    PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_002B&CC_0280
I tried to install the driver and it installed fine but it said im not done and had to go add hardware wizard through the cmd and add it there, I tried but I needed to locate the files to add the hardware but I don't know which file to choose to add the hardware.

There may be a Fn+button to enable/disable Wifi. See manuals/ check keyboard for such key combination.
