    Network card drivers freeze system

    Hello all,

I am new here so please let me know if I need to provide more information but my problem is as follows:

I got a TP-Link archer t9e network card and I have an asus z87-k motherboard. I can fit it in fine and the system recognizes when I boot it up. So far, so great. Now go to install the drivers and it does. Then once the installation has finished my system completely freezes. I can boot it up in safe mode to uninstall the drivers and then it works fine again. Is there a way to get this card to work on my computer or is it just incompatible?

Oh, and my operating system is Windows 7 64 bit.

Same deal. A soon as the drivers finish installing the entire computer freezes.

Windows should be up to date (last checked for updates on 7/1/2015) I have not posted there. I tried their customer service but their only advice was to try a different PCI-e port, which did not help.

When I boot in safe mode I can look at the logs and it does say the drivers were finished installing.
