Windows 7: Realtek RTL8187 driver

I wanted to install wifi driver but when i had installed it said that it just will not work. If anyone can help me??

What is the device you need a driver for?

can any one show me where i can get driver for realtek 8187
i dont know which letter after that.. but my usb is 802.11g
its ALFA model : AWUS036H

i cudnt register my win 7 cause i cudnt get my pc connected to the net ..


P.S: installed win 7 for my old p4 cheap third class pc.. which used to crash in xp itself due to low ram etc etc...
win 7 works not just great but excellent.. EVEN WITH BACKGROUND IMAGES CHANGING AND 7 GADGETS!!! ALL IN 1 GB RAM.. KUDOS TO WIN 7

Okay so i went to windows 7 update catalogue.. i think i got the correct driver ..lol

hope this works for my device..
now my question.. its not an exe file.. how shud i install it.???
windows 7 doesnt even detect my usb wifi.. so i cant choose select driver from so and so.. how do i do it manually???

my prob is not on vista.. i have vista and Windows 7 both on same comp.. right now i am logged from my vista os.. cause my win 7 didnt even detect my realtek HARDWARE!! yesterday i had gone to the updaye catalogue did one update for win 7 .. loaded that update from Windows 7 so my win 7 did detect my realtek hardware for usb wifi.. but its yellow with exlamation mark.. ie driver not installed..
i just want the driver for Windows 7 to have it run.. cause the cd i got with my alfa wifi usb only has driver for win 95/xp/vista.. not win 7

You probably wont find one yet. Thats why I gave you info about Vista drivers. Many Vista drivers work for Win 7.

i have tried evrything but it still wont work, i have on the same computer win xp and it works but whit seven it doesn't.

i am so tired of searching high and low..
cudnt get my win 7 activate yet..
even the top notch professional ppl arent able to help on this matter...

i have desided to purchase usb linksys wireless.. i read smewhere one person was able to load it.. although in a strange way!! lolz.. still will wait some more time...

This case you can manual update driver by use driver vista from driver cd Alfa.

this location for driver on cd

Nope.. it simply says.. Not a valid installation file..
cause my alfa cd is old.. maybe urs is new.. but still i cudnt get it from their website..

i had asked same question in yahoo answer.. some one sent me link to a page which had the driver realtek for windows 7..
and it installed also...
but then just before instalation completed.. i got BSOD(Blue screen of Death)
when i tried installing it on vista.. thn also i got BSOD..
it was some other usb wifi manufacturer companies site.. not of alfa.. but it did looked promising..

i just managed to connect my win 7 thru lan cable.. it was showing 2 days left for activation!!..
i knew that i wudnt face prob thru lan.. cause my other pc is always running thru lan.. but i wanted a solution of wifi for my pc.. which is quite far...

strangely i didnt get any message to update my Windows 7 when i connected... (
was hoping i wud get some drivers..
even my virtual drive and 3 usb's..including mms reader didnt show up..
driver prob for Windows 7 , might just kill the os!
