    need pc speaker to work

I need my built in pc speaker to work. I know this is a 64-bit windows 7 problem because I've done alot of searching and it works on the 32bit version

heres what it shows. this doesnt make any sense:

    Hi and welcome

It is just confused. first get the 64 bit driver (either win 7 or vista) boot into safe mode, uninstall the current driver and before you reboot install the new one. If it is vista you want to install in compatibility mode (to do so right click>properties>cpmpatibility check vista)

Let us know if this doesnt help it

well see the thing is I heard this was a problem with vista 64 bit too. I have a feeling "they" are trying to get rid of the system speaker and just wont admit to it

I have no idea where to get the 64 bit driver. I have a ASUS M2N-E motherboard. heres the response I get on that forum:

ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Forum- system speaker in win7 64bit

does anyone have it working, on any computer with vista or win7 64bit??
