    how can you update you Flash your BIOS to the newest version.

    This is something that you do NOT want to do unless you have a lot of experience with doing it. It is very rare that you would need to even consider it, so I would advise against it, in the strongest terms.

    If you are looking to update the on-board components, like the video or sound, drivers are available for those for all different motherboards.

    some on this forum recommend this because i have problems with my WMA12 and updating your bios is meant to improve you performance
    i have a vegas 2 motherboard and i found a update for it my verson is 1001 while
    the new one is 1006 System BIOS - Vegas 2 BIOS Update - 7602640400 - Downloads - IPOWER X8870 - PB84107101 - iPower - platform_amadeus_ipower - Desktop

    After downloading the file, double-click it and follow the instructions presented on your screen.You will need one empty CD-R(W).
    - System BIOS

    You might want to back it up first though - BIOS Backup

    when i try to run the set up it says this program requires windows xp or vista what can i do

    Oh right, I'm with ya, not too sure, but you you can try for nothing, as it seems you need to burn the downloaded files to the disk before hand, so do that, and if the program runs from DVD, great, if not, you know you'll need a CD.

    Try and run it in Compatibility Mode
