Can I install MAXXAudio on any PC?

I have Waves' MAXXAudio software on my PC and on my work's laptop, and I am quite amazed by the difference this little dude makes on my intra-auricular headphones. Thing is, I want to put this software on my personal laptop, which is my usual choice for entertainment. Is there any way I can install that software on my laptop? I ask that because I obviously don't know much about drivers, and I tried to download that software on their site. So my guess is that there is no "official" way of doing it. I want to know if there is a way of enabling this kind of installation, or if there is a similar/better alternative.

    Thakns!

Looking at their web site, it appears this is only sold to OEM computer manufacturers and not available for download to the general public.

There are several other "audio enhancement" packages such as Creative, Dolby, etc. However, these too are OEM type packages.

There are some "audio enhancers" available. Do a google search. I have no info on these other than they come up on a search.

Thanks, I'll run a search on that. But isn't really a way in which I can port those improvements to my laptop? I mean, is the potential to that sound quality embedded in the soundcard?

Its custom software, only made available to the OEM vendors. Its beyond the scope of this forum if there is a way (illegal software is forbidden on this forum).

sorry to bring this old thread back but I wanted to point out who are the official partners of Waves Maxxaudio. here's the link:

    Partners | maxx.com

even though certain PC manufacturers are mentioned on that site, only select models of certain ASUS, Acer, Dell, Fujitsu, LG & Lenovo computers have MAXXAudio implemented.

BlacksmithVRS should really check with the PC manufacturers' web site(s) on which computers contain Maxxaudio.

Besides, (also note to fireberd), the creator of Maxxaudio (Waves Ltd.) got very smart in blocking/preventing installation of their Maxxaudio software onto non-supported machines and will only install & run on "supported" models
