    DELL drivers

    Hi,

I have always had HPs, but this time I got DELL.

HP checks for drivers and BIOS updates and install them if needed.

I cannot find a similar utility on my DELL.

Should I go to 'Device Manager' and check them manually....?

    Thanks,
    -BBDS

    Hello BBDS, :)

If you like, you can click on the blue "Detect Product" button at the Dell link below to auto detect your product for drivers, or manually select your model number.

It has been years since I used HP's update tool. Back then, it did not work well. Many times, the tool suggested software that was older than what was installed and much newer software could be manually downloaded.

It would help us to help you if you would provide a model number.

Dell Command might work on your DELL computer.

Check the section named Compatible Systems in this link...
Dell Command | Update Driver Details | Dell US
...to see if your computer is listed.

The link above is for version 2.1.0. One of the first things that it finds is version 2.1.1 of itself. The utility downloaded and installed version 2.1.1 - but the install silently failed for me (perhaps because of other things also installing). It worked the second time. If you want to start with version 2.1.1, use this link: Dell Command | Update - Enterprise Client - Wiki - Client and Mobile Solutions - Dell Community

I followed the links provided by 'Brink' and 'Username' and it looks like all my drivers are up to date.

    Thank you,
